What are 3 ways that you can show your children that you care?
- Spend Time Together
One of the best ways to show that you care is to spend time together. Here are a few suggested family-oriented activities for the central Texas
· Round Rock Side Walk Chalk and Music Festival = Fri/Sat, Oct 8-9
· Austin City Limits Music Festival = Oct 8-10
· Pumpkins, pumpkins, pumpkins/ corn mazes / fall festivals = October
- Make Sure Kids are Safe in the Car
Making sure that kids are safe and secure in a car seat is important….important!!! I read a study that found approx 70% of car and booster seats were misused in a way that could be expected to increase risk of injury in a crash. Make sure YOUR kids are properly buckled up. Check with your local fire station for assistance in properly installing a car seat or booster seat if you have questions.
- Obtain Life Insurance…Just In Case
If something were to happen, you want to always make sure that your children have their needs met. If you are unable to be there for them some day, having a life insurance policy in place (just in case) is an excellent way to ensure that basic needs can be fulfilled.
