FAQ: How do I change home insurance policies when I have a mortgage?

Some people believe that changing insurance is difficult when they have a home mortgage...which is actually not true.  The process is straight-forward and (in fact) can be done online (depending on your mortgage company).  For example, here's a screen shot of the Bank of America website that shows how to change your insurance coverage if you have a mortgage through Bank of America and escrow the insurance.  Not a complicated process...
